Is There a Full Moon?

That is what I asked about some of the library regulars last week, but I think it applies to my sock yarn buying as well.  First, I ordered some Alpaca Sox alpaca/merino/nylon from Classic Elite, in Fruit Salad. Although, for some reason, when I was out taking pictures, I got "Polk Salad Annie" in my head. Click for larger.

Then, I have been reading Smatterings blog for a while, and have resisted her Ball & Skein yarn until the other day when I had to have Fallen Leaves sock yarn. Isn't it pretty and autumnal?  Click for larger.  I also ordered some Zen String Lotus Toes BFL in Sedona.  It is not here yet

I think this past weekend was a Blue Moon, so that might account for it. I agree with Beth, knit Judy's yarn!

You should go ahead and knit Judy's yarn while it's still autumn. Those are the colors of our trees right now.
