    Embossed Leaves

I have been working on socks-alternating between the second entrelac sock and the first Embossed Leaves sock. I had to take my father-in-law to two  Birmingham doctor's appointments with the rheumatologist and dermatologist. because DH was too sick. I got that duty because DH's bronchitis was more severe than mine. My cough sounds better and I am blowing my nose a whole lot less. Anyway, I got a lot of time to work on the sock today at doctors' offices.. The Embossed Leaves socks have not been photographed in a long time, so I posed them with a magnolia and a maple. Ball and Skein yarn in Fallen Leaves.

And I made another sockie bag the other day. Itty bitty kitties in a tree.

That is a great combination of sock pattern and colorway. I hope you're feeling better by now.

    LOVE the sockie bag!!!!!

    Those socks look great!

Great colors for the sock, and it looks really nice next to the maple leaves (sorry, magnolia, but I'm partial to maples). I'm looking forward to seeing the pair.

Take care of yourselves. I hope you're feeling better soon.

Coming along great. Very nice definition.

I love that sock pattern, and it looks great in Judy's yarn! The bag is too cute!

The socks look very daring & I love your sock bag!

Hope everyone gets to feeling better soon.

Me likey the Embossed Leaves sock. That's a great yarn color choice for it. This pattern is on my to do list. It will be one for SOS 08. Cute sockie bag. :-)

Ah...Embossed Leaves...the pattern that kicked my butt. Granted, it was before I knew how to read a chart and that *might* have been the problem. LOL However, I still can't bring myself to try it again. To give you an idea how bad my attempt looked, I could have called it "Embossed Cat Puke".

    Yours look beautiful though! :-)

Aww what a cute bag! I need to figure out this damn sewing machine so I can make cute bags too!

Very nice sock, and I LOVE the bag!

The sock is looking good. Doctor's offices are usually good for making progress on socks for me. I hope you and DH are feeling better soon.
