    Sleeving Along

I am close to being done with the cap shaping of one CPH sleeve. The second one is waiting for the same treatment. DH was bored with my blog and said it needed updating.  I have been stuck on sleeves all last week.  I even did about half a row in the carwash, but the moving parts kept blocking the light. I ran out to photograph the peach blossoms before the forecast snow tonight. Click for larger.

    Still Marooned on Sleeve Island

I have worked mostly on the CPH sleeves. I had a moment the other day when I thought I had crossed a cable wrong, but it looks OK.

The little tomato plants are also out enjoying the sun. It is supposed to be in the 60s today, and it is gorgeous. I  forgot my sky photo the first time out..

    A Little More Sleevage

I continued on the sleeves for my CPH. I had to switch the stitches around in order to have the cables together, instead of half one side and half on the other. It was driving me crazy. It took a little finagling to get that correct. And a lot of Law & Order reruns last night. I had to run out while the sun was out today to take photos. It will be in the high 60s today. I could wash the muddy Accord just to give my Minnesota readers thrills, but I woke up with a migraine for the third day in a row, and it might come back. Anyway, thunderstorms are predicted for the wee hours of the morning, and cold fronts and snow flurries. Any strange blog posts are attributed to effects of migraine meds on the brain.

    Another Sweater Section

So I have finished the left front of Central Park Hoodie, and I decided to start on the sleeves instead of the right front. I will now attempt both sleeves at once with the Magic Loop technique. It's OK, so far. The sun was out before and after my photos, not during.

The tomato babies have had a growth spurt since being put under my sewing Ott-Lite. Also DH repotted them in larger pots.

    Finished

Just the back of CPH, that is. Better photo later. It is rainy and dark today.

    I also made cupcakes today

    Cables

I have gotten far enough along with the back of the CPH that I can actually see cabling going on here. I was a little concerned about the purple Kathmandu Tweed aran.

    A little progress

So I have a couple inches of ribbing on the Central Park Hoodie. I just thought Darlene y'all woild like to see.

Central Park Hoodie Swatch. This yarn feels so much better after a bath! Queensland Collection Kathmandu in purple from a Webs sale. It's a little darker in real life.

Now for my complete distraction. Cool, man, cool! (Dave Brubeck, Take Five.) This video is from the year I was born! I bought the CD before the Lexus Infiniti commercial, too.

    I Have Too Been Knitting

    Yoke
Well, I apologize for the lack of knitting  photos lately. All I have been working on for the past copule of days is the yoke of my cable raglan from Y2Knit. This is the major project for the Fall Cable KAL. There are 11 cables on the yoke. What is neat is that the raglan increases are hidden next to cables. The lovely background is a couch on my library floor. The yarn is Mission Falls superwash wool from stash.
